Service Engine Soon Bmw. Hope someone can help, i have done the required maintenance on my 2011 bmw 328i ,however the service engine soon light is till on i have tried all the tricks suggested by you tube videos and nothing w. Bmw check engine light may come on due to something as simple as a loose gas cap, but it can also indicate an expensive engine or transmission problem.
Jan 02, 2009 | 2007 bmw 530xi sports wagon. The service engine soon (ses) notification signifies that scheduled maintenance is required. My husband cleaned, then he replace the 2 valve and engine but the light still came of after an hour drive.
My check engine light goes on now and then.
